SKEMA's MSc Programmes: Career Accelerators That Elevate the Grande École Programme

SKEMA's MSc Programmes: Career Accelerators That Elevate the Grande École Programme

At a time when companies are looking for graduates who are immediately operational, SKEMA Business School is making a clear choice: embedding leading economic and academic players at the very heart of its programmes.
To land a first job in the most competitive sectors, a degree is no longer enough. Recruiters expect young graduates to already master the practices of their profession, to have international experience and to be capable of operating in multicultural environments.
This is precisely the equation on which SKEMA bases its strategy for training and MSc programmes. Beyond academic excellence, the school builds each of its programmes around partnerships with benchmark companies and institutions in order to bring students closer to the standards expected by international employers.
An illustration through three MSc programmes that draw on partnerships with world-class business and academic references. An approach that brings the classroom into line with real-world conditions and strengthens students' employability.

Students complete the full MITx MicroMasters® in Supply Chain Management, earn five MIT certificates as well as MIT Affiliate Alumni status. They also benefit from exchanges with Politecnico di Milano and Lancaster University, along with a leadership camp in the French Alps. Luxury: a programme connected to the leaders of the greatest houses

The MSc Global Luxury Management is built around two tracks: Retail Excellence & Client Relationship Management, developed with LVMH on the Dubai campus, and Luxury Digital Marketing & Strategy with the NYU School of Professional Studies in New York. Students earn a certificate awarded by LVMH or a Graduate Certificate from NYU SPS respectively.
SKEMA has also just strengthened the programme's governance by welcoming several of the sector's most influential leaders onto its Industry Advisory Board. The board now includes Miral Youssef (Kering Middle East & Africa), Patrick Chalhoub (Chalhoub Group) and Robin Langlais (Tiffany & Co. and SKEMA graduate). They contribute to the programme's development, to anticipating market transformations and to the ongoing rapprochement between students and the great luxury houses.
These new members join a board that already includes Vitalie Taittinger (Champagne Taittinger), Anthony Ledru (Tiffany & Co. and SKEMA graduate), Fleur Siesse (Chanel Fragrance & Beauty), Gary Pinagot (Balenciaga) and Kelly Emanuelli (Pinterest Luxury). This governance gives students privileged access to international leaders through conferences, corporate projects, hackathons and professional workshops, making the programme a genuine bridge between the great houses and future managers. The career outcomes reflect this proximity to the sector's players: graduates join, in addition to the houses mentioned above, Chanel, Guerlain, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Apple, Dior, Armani, Montblanc, Yves Saint Laurent, Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Jaguar, Balenciaga, as well as many other international houses and brands in the luxury industry.

An assumed employability strategy

These three Masters of Science illustrate a major shift in which partnerships structure the programmes themselves and give them a very strong distinctive professional value. International professional certifications, content co-built with companies, direct involvement of leaders in governance, multi-campus immersion and a global network make SKEMA an employability accelerator.
This strategy also benefits students of the Grande École Programme, for which these programmes serve as specialisations, guaranteeing a dual academic recognition at the end of the journey: the Grande École Programme degree and a Master of Science, while developing professional expertise highly valued by recruiters.
