Can you tell us a little about yourself ?

Megalie Dongmo : I'm currently doing a Bachelor's degree in Finance at Financia Business School. I chose this school for the quality of its teaching, its strong links with the professional world and the importance given to work-study programmes. Thanks to my experience at MILA Assurance, where I held the position of Assistant CFO, I have developed concrete skills in accounting, financial management, HR and reporting. At the same time, I'm an ambassador for the school, a role I'm proud to take on to represent Financia at events and help future students with their career choices.

Livencia Lawrence Raj : I'm studying for a Bachelor's degree in Banking and Insurance at Financia, and I'm currently doing a work-study placement at Société Générale, in the International Transactions and Flows department. I'm passionate about international banking issues, compliance and the rigor required in this sector. My role as an ambassador allows me to share my experience, inspire other students and promote the school that gave me the means to blossom, both academically and professionally.

Princia Fidiarison : I'm doing a Bachelor's degree in Finance at Financia, I'm an ambassador for the school and I'm also in charge of partnerships within the BDE. I'm doing a work-study program at Société Générale, in the Paris Centre Entreprise business center, as an international and SEPA flows manager. It's an opportunity that enables me to become more technical, to be in contact with corporate customers and to understand the real financial issues at stake.

Why did you choose Financia Business School ?

Princia : I was looking for a school specializing in finance that offered a sandwich course from the first year. Financia immediately appealed to me because of its professional approach, its field-based lecturers and its serious yet caring atmosphere. The work-study format enabled me to get my foot in the door of the corporate world very quickly, while at the same time getting involved in community life, which is a real asset to my career.

Megalie : What really convinced me was Financia's clear focus on finance and its determination to stick to the realities of the market. From my very first discussions with the teaching staff, I felt that they were very accessible and offered personalized support. The school enabled me to build a career path in line with my ambitions, combining theory and practice in a balanced way.

Livencia : First and foremost, Financia is a school with a professional outlook, with a solid network of partner companies and alumni. I was attracted by the diversity of profiles, the quality of individualized follow-up and the school's ability to support each student according to his or her project. You never feel alone: whether you're looking for a work-study program or planning your post-graduation career, the support is practical and human.

How did the admission process go ? Any advice ?

Livencia : I applied online and was quickly contacted for an interview. The exchange was fluid and friendly. My advice: be authentic, prepare your speech and show that you've thought about your project. It's not a test, it's a moment to explain why Financia is right for you.

Megalie : The process is clear and fast. I was able to showcase my career path and demonstrate my motivation. A good piece of advice would be to find out about the programs and understand the school's values. This helps you to present yourself in a sincere, aligned and powerful way.

Princia : Everything went smoothly: application, interview, and above all an honest exchange about my objectives. I recommend showing curiosity, asking questions and not hesitating to talk about your career aspirations.

What sets the Financia Bachelor's degree apart ?

Livencia : Financia's training is very much rooted in the real world, with speakers from the banking and financial sectors. We learn things that can be applied immediately in the workplace. The school also emphasizes work-study, which makes a real difference on a CV. Last but not least, the constant contact with professionals and the events organized help us to project ourselves and find our bearings.

Princia : The teaching approach is very practical. The courses are taught by finance experts. You get the feeling that everything is designed to prepare you for the realities of the job market. The associative life and class atmosphere also make for a very human experience.

Megalie : Right from the first year, we're immersed in the fundamentals of finance. The school values hybrid paths: courses, work-study, projects and commitment. Being an ambassador, for example, enabled me to develop cross-disciplinary skills that are very useful in business.

What courses or projects have impressed you the most ?

Megalie : The financial analysis and risk management courses are fascinating. The project to evaluate a listed company enabled me to work as part of a team on complex subjects, while gaining in rigor and analytical skills.

Livencia : The Business Game was a real highlight for me. It was a very realistic bank management simulation. I also really appreciated the intercultural management course, which is essential for working in an international environment.

Princia : Contract law gave me a better understanding of the legal framework of our future professions. And data analysis taught me essential decision-making tools. Two very concrete and complementary subjects.

Were you able to complete a work-study program? How did the school support you ?

Princia : Yes, I'm on a work-study program at Société Générale, a position I obtained thanks to Financia's support. The school helped me structure my CV and prepare for interviews, and distributed my profile to its partner companies. This support gave me confidence and was decisive.

Megalie : My work-study placement at MILA Assurance gave me the opportunity to work in several areas of financial management. Financia supported me from A to Z: coaching, putting me in touch with recruiters, preparing me for interviews. I really felt that the school was doing everything to help us succeed.

Livencia : I'm also doing a work-study program at Société Générale, working on international operations. The school has been a constant support: it offered me personalized coaching before the interview, which helped me to position myself well and make the most of my experience.

What are your plans after the Bachelor ?

Megalie : I'd like to do a Masters in Audit or Management Control at Financia, on a sandwich course. My goal is to become a CFO and play an active role in a company's financial strategy.

Livencia : I'm heading for the Compliance MBA, again at Financia. I want to work in financial compliance, a strategic sector where I can make the link between performance and compliance.

Princia : I'm aiming for the MBA in Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions and Investment Banking. My ambition is to work in coverage, supporting major companies in their financing and growth operations.

How does the school help you build your career plan ?

Livencia : From the moment of admission, Financia offers coaching on CVs, cover letters and interviews. There's also a platform with job offers, and even a mentoring system. We're really supported.

Princia : Between forums, company meetings and individual coaching, we're guided step by step. Thanks to this framework, I was able to structure my career path and land a work-study placement in line with my project.
